Who are we?
Winwall Technology India Private Limited (WTIPL) is an ISO 17025 NABL accredited laboratory is part of the renowned Winwall group headquartered in Singapore, established to conduct performance testing on building facades, windows and doors and handrails. All the tests are done per the various national & international standards like ASTM, AS/NZ, AAMA, BS EN & CWCT.
We are the first private in India to be NABL accredited for glass testing ( BIS recognised ), fire testing as per NFPA 285 and cyclical testing of hardware.
Facade testing should become a part of the design process
Using an untested product is like driving a bus load of people on a moonless night without headlights. The direction may be right but its doubtful if the destination can be reached safely.
A timely and well planned façade performance test – ensures the safety of public and occupants of the building by identifying and ensuring the structural and seismic stability , is necessary to evaluate and validate the design of the façade, identifies and points out fabrication errors, air leakage, water leakage if any, helps in rectifying all faults before final production, saves cost and time and ensures a quality façade.
We are the first lab in India to be NABL accredited and BIS recognised for conducting glass testing. The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) have revised the applicable standards and codes and have made the ISI marking mandatory on every panel of Float and Safety Glass to be used in building. We do glass testing as per IS standards.
The strength of a chain is to be checked at its weakest link. A solid fire safety design is based on a holistic approach. Fire testing is carried out to understand the behavior of fire on the facade system in the event of an outbreak of fire. One of the key tools to quantify the effectiveness of fire safe designs is the NFPA 285 test method.
To prove the durability and trouble-free performance of handles, locks, friction stays and rollers the manufacturers of such products can get their samples tested through a third-party ISO 17025 accredited lab to IS or EN Standards and offer the test report as documented proof to their OEM customers i.e window and door manufacturers.

We, started testing with Winwall sometime in 2013 I think and ever since then every test of ours, probably 50 of them have been conducted at their facility, some of the tests we conducted here were for our prestigious projects such as HCL Noida, TCS Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Godrej Mumbai and Goldman Sachs Bangalore to name a few, these were tested to wind loads between 2.5 to 4.5 KPA. What draws us to Winwall is its very competent and efficient team who make sure all preliminary works are completed prior to us arriving at the test rig. The fact that they can conduct tests to AAMA as well as to Australian standards makes their facility all the more attractive as we test to both standards.
After evaluating multiple options in India and internationally, we narrowed down on Winwall for testing and certification of our product driven by the confidentiality, reliability, quality and on-ground support provided by Winwall. Especially in times of COVID, Winwall provided active on ground support to make the process seamless. Their technical team also guided us through the nuances of the testing process. Winwall Technology India Pvt Ltd., a World Class Test Laboratory in India.
